While I was enjoying my time looking at this lovely sky, I couldn’t help but think of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.

Japan may have been a rich country that is better prepared for these kind of disasters but the devastating earthquake and the more destructive tsunami proved that no amount of disaster preparedness would shield the Japanese from the wrath of Mother Nature. What happened to Japan was beyond human control, and beyond control of the greatest technology of a great nation.

Let’s continue praying for Japan - for healing and for fast recovery. And for our country, Philippines, let’s claim that God will spare and shield us from these kind of disasters.

While I was staring at this lovely sky, 3 hours after the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami, I closed my eyes and prayed for the people who perished and can no longer see and enjoy the beauty of life.
